Nolan’s Irish Pan-Fried Salmon

Ingredients
  1. 4x200g fillet of Irish salmon
  2. 2 lemons
  3. 200g butter
  4. 5g herbs (dill, parsley, chives)
  5. 100ml oil
  6. tt salt
  7. tt pepper (*tt = to taste)

Method
  1. Prepare the Quality Irish salmon and cut into darns
  2. Season with salt and pepper
  3. Heat up frying  add butter and oil
  4. Place the salmon darn flesh down
  5. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on the flesh side resulting with a golden brown colour
  6. Turn the salmon over and cook on the skin side down
  7. After 2 minutes baste the salmon darn with the hot butter and oil
  8. Remove the salmon from the pan and let rest
  9. Peel a lemon carefully slice and dip into freshly chopped herbs  for garnish
  10. Add in a knob of butter , squeeze of fresh lemon and chopped herbs
  11. Season to taste  and pour over the golden brown Irish salmon


Tips for pan frying Salmon
Make sure the pan is hot before placing the salmon.
By basting the salmon will add the butter fish flavor back on to the salmon.
